Drop Dead at the Dead Drop Empty Drop Dead at the Dead Drop

Post by Virus au Vitus Tue Dec 06, 2016 10:09 am

At first glance, the body lounging in what could be considered a lawn chair might have been dead. It wasn't moving, there was no real visible rise and fall of the chest to speak of, and the smell . . . Dear god, the smell. Like whoever that wasn't was hadn't bathed in days. His face was hidden underneath an oddly shaped hat so he couldn't be identified right away. From a distance, for all intents and purposes, that could have been considered a dead body. Maybe some scavengers would come along and try and loot it. That's what he was hoping for. Although, to be fair, it's not like he would have noticed at first that he was being robbed. He was napping. Why was he napping? It was the beginning of a new seven day cycle for him and he was prepping himself for a week of nothing but partying. Though, that required him to get through this task first. What was his task? Waiting for a client to come with their goods so they could trade with their own set of goods.

A shadow was looming over him. Or appeared to be looming over him. Not that he honestly would have noticed. A foot was raised, pressed against his chair. With almost little effort and enough pressure, the chair was tipped over its side and a grown man could be heard screaming as he hit the ground. He scrambled around, tore his hat off his head, and tried to orient himself with his surroundings. He was still at the dead drop. No bodily harm had come to him. The people he had been waiting for weren't here. His chair hadn't just fallen over by itself. So what in the fuc- . . . That's when his eyes landed on the bringer of his current state of panic.

"Toxic, why do you do this to me every single time?" He huffed a little bit, tugging his hat back down onto his head. "You scared me shitless!" He turned a bit and went to set his chair back up to right, dusting all the dirt off of it. "I thought you were an ex or something." That something could have literally been anything though. Was super glad He was relieved it was his friend and all, but still. "And before you say it, I know exactly what I was doing and I was ready should something happen!" No he wasn't. But he would have liked to have thought that he was. "Besides, I got all of this under control. What're you doing here anyway?"

Drop Dead at the Dead Drop Empty Re: Drop Dead at the Dead Drop

Toxic half scoffed at his friends reaction removing one of his hands from his slack pockets to pinch the end of his cigarette out and to flick it casually off to the side. “Yeah you were fucking ready weren’t ya?” His voice was the quiet harshness of someone who had been told to stay quiet often and normally violently. “That’s why you’re picking yourself up off the ground and I wasn’t lashed back at.” Toxic looked around for a bit looking for an escape route just in case things went awry. Sure, Tox and Virus could probably take the thugs that were sent to deliver the cargo if they shifted, but the man in the suit wanted to keep his form as secret as possible.

They sat against a wall outside and chose this spot because it was largely disputed territory. The chaos from a lot of the fighting that happened on the inside seemed to be largely contained so for Toxic this was the perfect place. Should something happen and fighting broke out, it was likely that other factions would be pulled into the fray making it so the two dealers could easily escape. He hated relying on chance in situations like this.

“Here,” Toxic said after his friend stood up. He pulled out a pack of cigarettes and offered Virus one. The good thing about the damn Calamity is that the tobacco ended up tasting purer. “I know you’re on your down day this week and I need you to stay calm. We don’t need to be reminded about what happened last time you lost your cool yeah?”

Toxic was interrupted by the roaring of a badly repaired engine that came tearing through the place heading for them. Tox grimaced at the sound, thinking he could do far better with less resources they had. No this was a poor show if anything, the amount of valuable materials these guys went through just to make this show probably would’ve paid to have it fixed a lot better. The white van was so cliche it made Toxic sick, and this was the fucking guy in a suit doing these deals. The speed and the reckless driving made Toxic think these were kids sent to do an adult’s job which only pissed him off. If Toxic hadn’t already flicked away his cigarette butt he would’ve right then in frustration.

Toxic’s hand drifted to his right hip near where a pistol he happened to pick up sat. He wished he had traded for more ammunition at this point, if only to send the pricks a message after all of this. Instead he had two knives in little holsters sitting on his calves. “Please tell me you have at least something to defend yourself with.” Toxic thought out loud. He shook his head regaining his focus. “Remember if I start getting more between you, you take the shit and run. You can fly, you’ve got an advantage.” It was far too early to be dealing with this shit. Toxic could use a stiff drink or his fucking fix or a good fuck, the sooner the better.

"Yes! I was ready!" No, no he wasn't ready. He could have been though. He was so ready to have fought back if he needed to. Though, the sound of the other's voice in his ears was making him feel really bad. "Why would I lash back out at you though, babe? You know how I feel about you~." He wiggled his eyebrows just a little bit and stuffed his hands into his pockets. He didn't understand why his friend was here though. Did he not trust him to get the job done? Or did this have something to do with the fact that he was often distracted or the whole kidnapping thing? That hadn't happened in quite some time, he would like to point out. Oh well, that was something for later, he supposed.

"Huh?" The blond turned to look back at his friend and half smiled at the offered cigarette. "Hey man. That was a one time thing and I said it wouldn't happen again!" Or at least, he would have liked to think that it wouldn't happen again. Given what normally went through that head of his though, it was really hard to tell whether or not certain events would repeat themselves.

He might have been more flirty with his friend, reached for his ass, if not for the loud roaring abomination that started to fill his eardrums. He covered his ears, the cancer stick hanging out of his mouth as he turned his attention towards what was causing that godawful racket. An eyebrow was raised and he had to glance over at his friend. Were they . . . Were they serious? This had to be one of the most hilarious things he had ever seen. Though, it was also one of the most annoying things he had ever heard. And he had slept with a lot of irritating women.

"When don't I have anything to defend myself with?" He smirked a little bit, giving his hips something of a wiggle. There were blades in his pockets like always. Though, what he heard next worried him far more than it should have. Why did that . . . No. Yeah, so what if he could fly? He was really fast about it, too. But he was big enough to carry the loot in one talon and his friend in the other. He, he knew that right?

"I'll do what I can, boss man. But you know I'll come back for you!"

If only the addiction to sex was part of the things Virus could live without for a week Toxic couldn’t help but think as he rolled his eyes at his friend’s comments. Toxic stepped forward and stood in the direct way the van was going and listened as the brakes squealed. Well at least those were in decent shape. Toxic lit another cigarette and finished the puff before the van stopped just inches away from him. He put on his classic smirk and lifted the hand with the cigarette in greeting, the other seemed to be glued to his hip. “Yosh!”

“What the fuck do you think you’re doing?” One of the thugs hopped out slamming the door. Toxic was right, definitely the youth. He’d have to take a babysitting fee out of the cut. “You could’ve been hurt or worse!” The concern for life was a bit endearing, probably would’ve made this young kid a target for Toxic or Virus to bed. The kid was definitely cute enough, but the youth and brains weren’t attractive to Toxic anymore.

“Well then you’d have to explain why your boss’s favorite dealer was killed and why you lost the goods and why you were wasting resources,” Toxic put the cigarette in his mouth and shrugged. “I’d be dead and out of worries.” The Dealer’s eyes lost all sense of warmth and turned to a dark focus. “Now do you have the goods or not? I’m not here to fuck around.”

Toxic watched a second kid get out of the van. This one’s hair sharply contracted with his comrades and he seemed to be a bit calmer. Toxic liked this one a lot more. “How do we know you won’t try anything funny?” The kid’s voice was almost colder than respectful. At least this one had the right idea.

“Let me make it easy for you.” Toxic began to walk over to the new kid, taking half a glance in the van. Tsk, one more than had been agreed upon and another cut out. It didn’t matter to Toxic, every sign of disrespect and disagreement was another cut taken out. “Out of the two parties here, one of us makes money on the transfer of goods and can technically be replaced. So out of the two parties which one of us has something to lose?” He paused for effect. “I’ll ask one more time, do you have the stuff or should I go elsewhere?”

Drop Dead at the Dead Drop Empty Re: Drop Dead at the Dead Drop

Post by Virus au Vitus Thu Dec 08, 2016 5:18 am

Virus was bouncing on the balls of his feet, unsure if he should turn tail and run or if he should stay and see what happens. He ended up staying to see what would happen and oh boy. They were lucky they were far away from the blond otherwise he would have decked the driver in the mouth of how reckless he had just been. It was also a very good thing that Toxic seemed to be handling the situation. Otherwise the knife wielder would have sliced a throat. But he had to be calm. Had to be cool. Had to be collected. He shifted a bit and managed to stop himself from bouncing. Hr ran fingers through the loose hair on his head, reaching back to make sure his ponytail was still nice and tight. This was a business deal and he had to be well behaved about it. This was where Toxic shined and where he was a good boy and retrieved the goods.

The exchange of words was not something he wanted to hear and he had to bite his tongue to stop from whining. "I'm here to fuck around though." Mused the man as he shifted forward to stand behind his friend, off to the side. He might have said more, really wanted to say more, but Toxic was just taking up all the good lines with really super serious ones. Did this man not know how to have at least a little bit of fun? Shit. He went back to bouncing on his feet, ready to move at a moment's notice.

Blue eyes glanced between all the breathing bodies, trying to get a read on the situation. Was this going to turn into a fight or was something going to happen? He glanced around behind them out of habit; didn't see anything unusually so far. That was good. Meant things were going somewhat smoothly for the time being. That could change at any moment though. That was why he hadn't advanced too far, was still hanging back to make sure the goods were still their goods.

"I'd be careful there, buckos." He mused with an ever present smile on his face. "Just give us what we want. And we'll give you what you want and everyone makes it out alive, yeah?" He tugged one of his knives free and drew it across his neck where Toxic couldn't see, but the others could.

Drop Dead at the Dead Drop Empty Re: Drop Dead at the Dead Drop

Toxic didn’t need to turn around to see Virus’s intimidation tactics, he was used to it at this point. Hell, Virus played the obvious psycho best and Toxic loved to use that to his advantage. He looked into the van and signaled what he presumed to be the last person out. He caught the glimpse of a briefcase as the youth stepped out. Good, the kids were learning. “Hey Virus, go ahead and double check everything in there. Since they can’t keep their words I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re trying to short change us too.” Toxic waved his hand and stepped back near his friends chair.

The man in the suit took his time going through things, taking out about ten percent of the promised original price. Most of it was batteries and advanced circuitry, stuff Toxic didn’t have to worry about much. As he turned carrying his own case over, he unclipped his pistol and hid the excess items in his back pocket. He smiled and put the case on top of the van. “There it is, what we owe you, minus the babysitting fee and a slight for disrespect.”

“Hey what’d you mean by that?!” The first thug asked defensively, “You’re not much older than us!”

Toxic laughed which set the young thug back a bit. “I’ve been doing this for nearly fifteen years kid. You came in and disrespected me with very little idea of what you were doing.” Toxic flicked the butt of his cigarette away. “And you should tell your boss exactly what transpired here or I will. Maybe he’ll learn not to have me deal with the low rungs on his totem pole.” Toxic expected anger, what he didn’t expect was the sudden fist that came flying at him.

Drop Dead at the Dead Drop Empty Re: Drop Dead at the Dead Drop

Post by Virus au Vitus Fri Dec 09, 2016 7:48 am

The blond was careful when he resheathed the knife, didn't want to stab himself or cut off his clothes. Things that had been done before, but for vastly different reasons. Surprisingly enough, he was trying to be about as professional as he could despite the one or two acts of psychopathy. "Yes, of course, sir." He mused as he heard that he needed to go and check on the briefcase's contents. It didn't really surprise him; He was always the one getting stabbed and shot at and otherwise harmed in one way or another. Why not let him get super close and act as a form of meatshield? That's what he did best after all. So he just casually walked on over, took the case from the kid, and opened it up. He made sure to shove the one who had the case. Little fuck thought he could try and act all tough, get the case back, talk some smack. The argentavis made sure to put him in his place real quick.

He'd started to hum a little bit to himself, counting what the two of them considered to be of value. It wasn't like it was actual money. Hadn't seen any of that in God knows how long. He finished thumbing through it and closed the case, walking back over to his friend. He had planned on waiting for the two to exchange words before he announced that everything was accounted for. He waited patiently for his opening, case in one hand while the other slipped into his pocket. He wasn't really expecting a fight. That never occurred to him. It should have, but it didn't. So while the one guy closes to Toxic went in for a punch, the other two were wrangling the blond into the van. Which was their mistake.

When they grabbed Virus, they weren't quick enough to remove his hand from his pocket. The blade glinted ever so brightly in the light. He would have admired it a bit more if he wasn't impaling someone's throat on it. He twisted it as the man on his right let him go. The one he stabbed clawed at his own throat as the blade slipped free, the life quickly draining from his eyes. He knew they had to leave at least one of these boys alive, but that did not stop him from embedding his blade into the back of the retreating body. He heard a scream and watched the body fall. Its not like he had fatally wounded him, maybe just nicked a vertebrae . . . No, he was hoping that fucking hurt like Hell. Who in their right mind just up and grabbed a guy like that then ran like a pussy bitch? Fucking kids these days.

He walked over to where the boy had collapsed, tearing the knife out of his back and listening to him scream some more. "Oh, shut the fuck up. You'll live." Or maybe he wouldn't. Not like he cared too much. He knelt down and lifted the boy's shirt, wiping the blood off the blade. After he got it about as clean as he could get it, he put it back in its sheath and stood up to stretch. "How are you doing over there, old man?" He asked as more of a muse than anything, picking up one of the ankles of the kid and starting to drag him back to the van.

Toxic took the hit if only to have the kids guard down when he quickly retaliated and brought the barrel of his pistol to the kids chin. Blood welled up at the corner of Toxic’s mouth, “I’ll use the hole I create with this to get myself off you little fuckin fairy,” Toxic’s blood flaked smile made his words echo with an edge of insanity, “Can’t fucking listen to directions, can’t fucking respect your clientele, and then you have the fucking nerve to attack one because you’re too much of a coward to face the fucking truth. I really oughta blow your brains out all over your van.” Toxic’s smile widened as if he really enjoyed the thought. “Unfortunately I need someone to drive you and your injured friend out and to explain to your boss why they’re receiving far less than agreed upon.” Toxic bashed the butt of his gun quickly against the side of the kids head. “If either of you lie about what happened here, I’ll find out and I’ll get you over to a colleague of mine. I hear he likes to tear apart people slowly.”

Toxic grabbed the kid by the scruff of the collar and tossed him into the driver's door with the briefcase after removing a few more objects. He slammed the door after them and waited for them to rush away before finally deciding to answer his friend. “Old man? Really?” He scoffed with a slight smirk. “We’re the same age.” Toxic wrapped his arm around his friend’s shoulders holstering his gun with his free hand. “Now let’s make this delivery and then you can have your week of fun.” It’s not like Toxic didn’t do most of the work anyway.

“Here.” Toxic opened the case when they returned to Virus’s chair and tossed him his cut which was an 8ball of white powder heroin. That oughta last Virus a while. “Don’t go through it so fast this time.” Toxic itched a bit to try some more himself, but he bit his lip and closed the case. No someone else could pay him more for that. He’d just have to stick with straight plants for now. He took a deep breath and waited for his friend to prep his stuff. It was gonna be a long day for Toxic.

"Look at you, bro. You look like an old man. Now look at me, I'm a young, spry young man." He chuckled a little bit as his friend half hugged him. He was very interested in having his week of fun. If Toxic wasn't up for spending a little bit of time with him, he would just have to go find one of his other lovers. Mm, could he possibly stay with them for a bit? Toxic would probably be all over business stuff. Wouldn't want to interrupt that now would he? Well, he would but he was sure he'd get shoved off into the corner again or something. A thought occurred to him though, he could just blow the man under his desk. He'd done that a couple times. He did enjoy that sometimes.

His eyes lit up like a fucking firework when the man threw him that delicious treat. He held it close to his heart and looked at his friend, "I love you so much. Never leave me." He did have to chuckle at the thought of doing it so fast this time. He would consider it though. He hung out for a few more minutes just to rock back and forth on his feet. A few more thoughts were running through his head before he finally found the right words to speak to him.

"Toxic, would you like to hang out just for a little bit? Like, we could go out to the bar and get a drink. Then you know. Maybe we can," He wiggled his eyebrows a little bit to get the man's attention to deviate to some more private matters. But hey, if the man didn't really want to then that was fine. "But I mean, if you'd rather not that's cool, too. I can always come back to you when you need me later."

Toxic pulled out his pack of cigarettes, shit he’d have to slow down before long.or risk having to trade some more valuable crap for this addiction. Seem like Virus got off easy with his abilities. The guy could go for a week with next to nothing and what’d Toxic get? A lot of dick. Sometimes literally. “Oh honey,” Toxic crooned into Virus’s ear, “Who’s to say I was done now?” Toxic breathed low against the nape of his friend’s neck before letting him go suddenly. Toxic didn’t push or anything, just released his hold. “I need backup for this next delivery. It’s to a Pandemonium gang. They want some high caliber and effective bullets like the ones we just received and they have something you might like to play with.” That last bit was a lie, but if Virus behaved well enough, Toxic might have to give him something fun regardless.

Toxic laughed at his thought and opened the case he got from the drop and one he had hidden near where he ran into Virus. Various types of ammunition sat inside; boat-tail hollow points, armor piercing, and radically invasive projectiles now sat neatly in large quantities throughout the case as he closed this one up and handed it to Virus. Fuck if he was gonna let that boy carry the case full of drugs. Guy could live for a week without anything but Toxic felt the kid would OD if he left him alone for 20 minutes. “Don’t touch this one or I’ll cut your hands off with your own knives.” Toxic’s grip on it tightened on the case he was holding. “Shouldn’t take long. Either it’ll go smooth or someone will die. Either way should be exciting right?”

Drop Dead at the Dead Drop Empty Re: Drop Dead at the Dead Drop

Post by Virus au Vitus Wed Dec 14, 2016 2:51 am

The way that was mused into his ear made him shiver, sending that sweet sensation all the way down his spine. A faint blush appeared on his cheeks and he could feel something starting to stir downstairs. The warm dance of breath cascading along his neck sent another shiver down his spine, this one perhaps a little more violent than the first. That was enough to make him follow this man very closely as he was released. A brief look at his friend's ass and he was sold. Or well. He would have been if not for 'Pandemonium Gang'. Now, he had nothing wrong with them at all. He had just heard a floating rumor about a pack leader and his obsession with blonds and well, he was definitely interested in never meeting him.

Ever.

Although, the man did mention something for him to play with. He was hoping he meant a warm body of the petite variety. Something to have a little fun with and release should they deem his company no longer worthy of their time. And as long as that pack leader bitch wasn't involved, he was good. He made to complain about having to carry the ammo case, but what he heard the man say definitely took the upset away from him. So instead he just smirked and gave something of a chuckle.

"Oh, I love it when you dirty talk me. Keep it up, baby." He leaned in, perhaps a little too close, and ran his tongue over the man's cheek. "Let's get going, shall we? Can't keep those heathen dogs waiting."
