Nightmare
The corridors of the library were shrounded in darkness, with several small candles to light the paths towards the bookshelves that were riddled with the history of Lumos and Galena, tales from continents long forgotten. There was no more power diverted to the library, possibly someones cruel amusement to punish the nightmare steed that resided amongst the books. (Setup 1) The candles had a faintness to them as orange hughes filled small areas as a cloaked figure wearing a violet shroud carefully made her way from section to section place to place. A pile of boddies sat in the corner next to the furnance as the violet shroud knelt down and began to burn off an arm. Flies and maggots swarmed near the bodies some of them getting zapped by the now mobile fire used to burn off limbs. She was using them to keep warm by the fire, burning them as fuel. She began to dip the arm in a bathtub full of oil, aftwards she threw it into the furnance and held her hands up to the flames as she made them dance. (Set up 2) The horn on her head was surrounded by the flames, the horn itself keeping the fire around her alive. Upon closer inspection one could see that her clothes were torn and burned, covered in ash bits where mishaps occured through playing with fire. (Set up 3)
The bodies were littered across the library, time and time again she had killed many men and women, for trespassing. The smell would make many people vomit, and the librbary was a disgusting place, but the books were in perfect condition, through hard work and determination.

Re: Nightmare
Margrete was sent here to put out the mess, they would of sent the whole guard however they determined to keep the whole thing under wraps, so it was Margrete's task to put it down not only quietly, but without the help of others. She knew where she was going but what was on the other side was a mystery, so she dressed in light thick cloth armor to give her extended mobility, the only thing uncovered was her hands and above the neck. She brought her signature dual handed axe on her back and two swords on her sides. A single hidden dagger rests in a strapped hilt near her left boot. She approached the front of the library and the smell of burning flesh hit her like a wall, she had to pause for a second and get used to it so that it wouldn't affect her while fighting. (Support) She reached out and opened the doors as wide as she could before drawing her swords (Support 2) looking around her surroundings as she began to confidently step inside leaving the wall to her back as she circles the outside of the room. "Show yourself, and accept your fate." She calls out to the darkness Her eyes morphing in their sockets growing slightly as she assumes a five percent transformation, her bear eyes much more custom to the dim light. (Support 3)
Re: Nightmare
As an intruders noisy footsteps graced her library, the shroud flinched with each step, a nervous twitch in her spine. Red eyes glowed beneath the shroud as her pupils dilated and moved rapidly in several directions attempting to locate the source of the noise. He breathing quickened and she clutched at chest, her breath would surely give away her location as she was not a gifted fighter, no it was the sheer unpredictability of her that saw that she had killed so many, the things one might do to protect themselves when they had an unimaginable ability. She lit a lantern she had been holding close by and aimed the light behind her, another means of giving away her position. The light was her line of sight, and anything in it would be engulfed in flames. After looking around in a quickened panic, she heard a voice... a woman... she quickly got to her feet and began to use a ladder to climb up the tall book shelves where she looked down on the walk ways searching, shining her light into the darkness. (Support)
Hearing the unsheathing of metal cause goosebumps to rise on her skin, she thought she heard something else move in the same direction as her unicorn horn began to pull a small source of fire from the lantern. She heard something again and aimed a quick burst of fire at the ground, being careful not to hit anywhere near the books. A small rat gnawing away at one of the bodies now completely charred and well done stood there lifeless. The clothes on the dead man kept the flame going, lighting the area a bit more for a brief moment. (support 2)

Re: Nightmare
Margrete sees the flame and stops in her tracks, taking a deep breath before calling out again. "Come out, and fight me like a warrior." She calls loudly into the room before wheeling against the wall to the other side of the room. She returns her one of her swords to her sheath leaving one sword drawn as she leans out of the corner of a row of books towards where the flame may have come from the get an eye on her foe. (Support How big is this library/tallness of the ladder she's on, actually knowing the layout of the library might help :].) After surveying the area she steps outward in the deranged lunatics view, always taught to face forward her foes. "Come face me." Margrete voice turns to a low growl as her jaw buckling forward and her mouth fills with fangs ready to roll out of the way of a flaming projectile like she saw before. (support 2&3)
Re: Nightmare
The shroud jumped from bookshelf to bookshelf fleeing further into the library, her lantern now remaining completely shut so as to hide among the shadows. Once she felt she was far enough, and in the darkness she couldn't see Margarette at all she opened her mouth. "I am not warrior..." She yelled out, fearful of giving away her position. "Please leave... there is nothing for you here... only death..." (set up 1)
She then hopped on a ladder and slid down, the ladder being six times her own height. She opened the lantern so that the light could be seen, and then quickly closed it, doing this several times so as to beacon her current location, her back now to a wall, and to large bookshelves to each of her sides. She was in a corner relatively trapped should her intruder find her here. (setup 2)
Her soot covered fingers grew blacker and blacker as she played with the lantern, She didn't move as the light would grow brighter as she revealed more fire, and shrink back down when she revealed less, the precision of the light escaping allowed her to see the top shelf of all the book cases and nothing more. (set up 3)

Re: Nightmare
Margrete continues carefully treading towards the light flickering, making careful notes of her surroundings and staying to the shadows on the outside of the light streams before stopping around the corner and calling out again, making sure to face the opposite way of her in a mock attempt to distort where she's standing. "You seemed like quite the adversary to the bodies scattering the floor. Unfortunately I cannot leave until the disruption has been silenced" Margrete leaned carefully around the corner hoping to get a good look at what she was fighting before making an attempt to engage realizing that bold shows of strength would only have her ended up like the crispy black husks of fallen men around her. (Support 1)
Re: Nightmare
Suddenly the shroud was no more, in its place stood a mare of great strength, focus, and size. Hooves clopped on the ground as The charred bodys around margrete broke down into ash and that ash surrounded the small area that she was in an attempt to blind her. (Support, and Trap activation) A loud neigh followed as the mare rushed forward in an attempt to impale the small head that peered around the corner. (attack 1) The Lantern had been left behind, wide open, the flame ever bright, lighting up the area. (support)
Re: Nightmare
Margrete without hesitation immediately takes a deep breath, holding her breath to avoid breathing in the ash as she springs into action. (defense 1) Seeing the unicorn charge she drops her sword with out question and shoves on the book case adjacent to her, fur sprouts in bits and pieces around her arms and legs as her muscles harden using her bear counterpart in the aid of pushing the book case, forcing it to topple towards the charging unicorn. (Attack 1)
Using her pushing momentum she forces herself up the falling bookcase, retreating the only way away from the ash, forward. (Defensive/support/attack something IDK what this is.)

Re: Nightmare
As the book case fell, the unicorn didnt't stop running, she leaped over the back of the case, and immiediately turned slightly slipping a blood covered floor. (Defense) She then followed the general up the book case, hooves landing on old wood as she followed. She didn't charge, but she did stomp cause the wood to crack underneath her weight, as it was pressed against another bookshelf. A bookshelf that also began to lose balance from the excess pressure. (Support) She then directed the ash in the air towards margaret, making it impossible for the general to escape the tainted air, her goal was to choke her our on it. (attack)
Re: Nightmare
Margrete leaps forward up higher on the collapsing book case to give her a second to attempt to draw another weapon, ripping the axe from her back while rotating to face the horse, her footing threatening to give way from the collapsing of the book case. (support) Margrete crouches to try and maintain some balance before she swings the axe horizontally at the unicorn with enough force to throw her off the bookcase if she were to miss. (Attack)
(I'll say 2 more rotations before Margrete starts taking negative penalties for holding her breath. that gives about ~30 seconds of holding breath and doing strenuous activity before starting to feel light headed and start feeling negatives for it.)

Re: Nightmare
As Margrete swung with her axe Octavia attempted to retreat backwards cause the bookcase to crack and fall apart which caused Octavia to suddenly plummet back to ground level. (triggered support) After landing and stumbling on her side, she reverted back to her human form(support) and summoned the fire of the nearby lantern to her and aimed upwards at the General as a torrent of flame shot wards her. (Attack - Support) As the flames rushed forward she stepped back, making her way towards the entrance closer to the furnace. (Support 2)
Re: Nightmare
Margrete let the weight of the Axe carry her off the bookcase and landed on her feet quickly spinning to face Octavia when she transformed back to human. Margrete's warrior instincts assessed the situation and through calculated odds or lack of oxygen her plan became clear. Seeing the gout of flame that rushed towards her she spiraled forward towards Octavia and swapped her axe to a one handed long swing around her body before letting go. Her axe arc through the air with deadly accuracy at Octavia while her back is turned (Attack), the torrent of flame collided with her stocky form and for a brief second her body attempted to forcefully grow into her bear-like second half to absorb the blast however with a combination of exhaustion and lack of air her body collapsed and sent her to a deep welcomed rest. (resolution.)
Re: Nightmare
Ocatvia immediately transformed (support) catching the flame before it caused any damage to the building and sent it hurling at Margrete, lighting the generals body a flame. (attack) The light from the flame blinded her to the axe. She hadnt noticed the arking axe that was now about to collide with her it went over her head as she stared at what she believed to be a now burning corpse. (support) She let out a slight neigh and clopped her hooves down to see if she would move at all, no final words from her accepting that she had won. She began to walk into darker the depths, not feeling safe, but she needed to get away in case reinforcements came, and with her wound she was in no condition to continue fighting.
Re: Nightmare
Margrete body laid twitching on the floor, her skin blackened and the only remnants of her clothing were the metal bits that have now since melted deeply into her charred flesh. "Hello?" A voice called onto deaf ears as the first of many came in only to up-heave the remnants of his lunch from a combination of the bitterness of soot and the nightmare that appeared before them. After ten to fifteen minutes of seizure like twitching Margrete found her self in an ambulance headed towards the nearest medicinal help while simultaneously being filled to the brim with a cocktail of antibiotics and liquid to help nurse her dehydrated, dying body.
-
The surgery took hours, removing all of the blackened dead flesh to avoid infection was all that they could do before they left Margrete to rest, almost all of her skin shriveled and damaged to the point of scarring however it seemed like despite survival being improbable her body was working harder than it ever has before. Her physical appearance could only be described as appalling however she was alive, and her recovered vitals gave the glimmer of hope that she would live to see another day.
