Alvarance was confused as a well hidden and reinforced door was opened by his companion. "What kind of negotiation is this then?" He couldn't help but ask, "I thought it was a peace-keeping one." His face furrowed in a surprised form of acceptance. Well either way I could meet the Captain of Mutiny and see if there are any ways that Havoc or myself could assist, he thought to himself. He sighed slightly when he saw the door swing in to many more stairs. How many were in this place? Perhaps he should try to see if Havoc could just run maintenance on this place, the walk alone would build up their muscles to their fighting prime.

Alvarance caught the sounds of beeps and whirring even without his enhanced Hawk ears, wondering exactly what was going on down in the next level. His guard almost slipped before he remembered who he was walking with. He took a deep breath to steel his curiosity and lightly clenched his fists. If the Captain was anything like the first mate, he'd have to be prepared.

[[NPC] Sevro]

As the door opened a series of server, and computer fans whirled at choked vents of racks and racks of computers. Engineers, and Technology staffed, carried parts around performing regular maintenance jobs on the machines that managed the power distribution. The sounds of water rushing over and below them was constant as the generators vibrated making the entire area feel as though it were buzzing. A sudden explosion and the apparent cloud of smoke that followed caused some of the staff to choke. Yelling could be heard in the distance, probably a senior disciplining a junior. The floors were covered in metallic tiles, that gave the room a chromium aura. Everything was silver, and iron with a hint of gold here or there. The ceiling however was an uncomfortable rust red, that had been neglected for what many assumed to be decades.


A small girl stood infront of a throne. She was short, barely dressed wearing a coat that had been twice her size, along with a black hat that shielded her from bright white glowing lights that reflected off of everything on this damned floor. Her hair caused her to stand out as it was an extremely bright red. She lived up to her last name, that of scarlett as a small boy ran up to her, bowed, handed her a note, and then ran off. She opened it, glanced over the letters, nodded, and then ate the note, so as to guarantee no one else could ever read it. She had a series of other members of the staff coming and going with details about the status of the dam, they came to her for guidance on what they should do about various issues, or up keep, giving her reports that she had asked for on a regular basis.


As the doors opened and Alverance could be seen and the group of workers scattered to the far corners. All except the red haired girl, Once it opened further and the workers could see that Chaol was with him, and some of them returned to work, others however, the now free slaves of the group continued to hide for fear of being returned to their masters.

Sevro locked her eyes on Alverance, she didn't know who he was so she wasn't going to let him out of her sight, however she did have an assumption as to why he was here. "Hello down there" She waved as the length of half of the entire bridge separated them on this floor. In Between them were nothing but servers and pumps for the water flow.

"Negotiation. No one told me about a negotiation." Chaol cackled wildly as they approached the doors to the throne room. He knew the captain would have been informed of there presence the moment he unlocked the gate. The upper floors may seem empty but the walls held secrets known only to Mutiny.

As the door opened Chaol had his eyes mostly closed to protect them until they adjusted. "Oh captain, my captain. I have a Dragon here from Havoc. Says something about a negotiation. Why did no one tell me we were having guests? I would have dressed up." He howled with laughter and held his arms out as he walked, his ratty clothing waving behind him.

"Watch this one. His bite is worse than my bark." He giggled and grabbed a chair out from under a worker as he went dumping the man onto his butt. He set it down at the bottom of the throne and sat in it facing Alvarence. "Alvy, may I present to you The Captain of Mutiny."

Alvarance wasn't sure about the etiquette befitting a Captain, especially as everyone else seemed to be pretty casual. Alvarance took a quick look around before bowing slightly, his hand over his chest. However his habits did make it so he never broke eye contact with Sevro when he was close enough. "Hello Captain," Alvarance said somewhat carefully. Why did the Grandmaster pick him for this task again? "I was told this was a negotiation of sorts but it appears that's not the case." Alvarance looked around. Though he was a travelling man, he hadn't yet seen so much technology in a single area, it was a marvel to behold.

Alvarance gathered himself again. "I apologize for what may seem to be insolence. I am not familiar with diplomatic affairs. My name is Alvarance au Juliel, the Dragon of Havoc. If I may be so bold as to ask what we are here for, perhaps then I can figure out what I can do for both you and the Grandmaster." It didn't seems as though many of the people here were fighters, which helped the warrior relax some.

Alvarance did his best to keep one eye on Chaol and one on Sevro. If rumors of how Mutiny gained it's leaders were to be believed, then this small girl was hiding something about herself. Rumor had it she killed a dragon. Alvarance smiled softly, at least her demeanor seemed a lot calmer than her First Mate.

When her first mate sat down, she ordered all of the others that had swarmed her with their needs and orders, to cease with a simple cough. They scattered like roaches and went back to their initial stations of work. Certain voices quieted down.

As Alverance spoke, his words drifted into one ear, and out of the other. She hadn't heard a word he said only catching phrases like "Hello" and "Insolence" She was more so lost in how much taller than her he was, when he bowed but she had found herself with a need to stand on her tip toes. She stopped her thought process immediately realizing that thoughts like those may cause her to accidentally grow. She was always envious of those that were bigger than her, and Alverance was about as fit and tone as she remembered her brothers.

When she came to her senses she had already processed the main points he had attempted to express to her. She accessed her memories on everything in relation to house Havoc and House Mutiny, and saw that there was very little relationship to be found there outside of the usual. They were in peaceful negotiations, which means the only reason for him to be here would that they had a request, or she had a request for them. As she thought all of this through, glossy eyes just stared off into a space, to the people around her it looked as if she was just staring at him, but others knew she had simply been staring right through him. Looking at the bigger picture, it was one of the side effects of being the leader of mutiny, becoming lost in the minds of previous leaders sometimes felt to daunting to some.

Abruptly, the thinking process completed, and the words came flying out like a torrent of wild thoughts. "Ahh yes, my apologies Dragon of Havoc was it... We have demands of house Havoc in exchange for the power supply we have been providing. We figured they would be peaceful negotiations since the last time we hit you gentleman up there were no problems amongst what each of us wanted, a partnership of sorts... anyway... we would like all of Havoc to stop devoting their support to house meticulous, and instead divert towards our protection... we believe they are trying to compete with us, certain areas still have power despite us cutting them off here... and we have noticed their draconian dogs spying on us from a distance... feel free to tell them that.... that they are dogs... not that we know... if you tell them and we find out consider our peace broken... anyway... We would like more support from house havoc in terms of body guards for our brains of our operations... they need better protection from what's outside... and from the issues that exist in here as well... in exchange we are willing to cut meticulous out of our grid entirely and devote what they were using towards your camps and resources... The last time we offered this, we didn't have proof but this time I have proof... my intel has informed me that Meticulous is using you for some gory damn shit... I mean like cutting you guys open and splicing you with each other to create clones or some wicked shit that will replace... you..."

She snapped her finger as an older gentleman hobbled over and opened a laptop revealing an image of a man dressed in black. He was holding the head of a dead man, and on the headless body next to the man dressed in black were two arms, each of them having the havoc sigils on his shoulders. Someone in Meticulous is doing experiments on all of us... and I think he is from house Meticulous because he is in their turf, has their accent, and no other house has a high interest in human modification... I think they are behind all of this nonsense... the calamity.. all of it..."

"Oh Captain. Talk like that gets me all hot and bothered."Chaol kicked one leg out over the arm of the chair and fanned his face pretending to be flustered. He didnt care much for the diplomatic portion of his job, its why he set himself up just outside the gates. "I guess Alv, you could say youre here to make a power play." He chortled at his pun and pulled a knife out of his pocket to pick at his nails. "Essentially to lighten the load for your house." He grinned farther and looked up at his captain.

"I thought Meticulous were the snooty ones with there heads up noses up there asses? Youre telling me there also crazy mad scientists?" He asked, actually a little interested in the idea of fighting some strong spliced up clones of people. Maybe not the Dragon though. Chaol wasnt sure he could beat him in a fair fight after tasting that uppercut earlier.

Something about Sevro was familiar in the way she seemed to process things. The look in her eyes reminded Alvarance of someone he knew, but he couldn't remember. Parts of her still seemed childish to him, such has the way she stared at him as he was introducing himself but that seemed to quickly be locked away shortly before she started talking. He was almost overwhelmed at the pace in which she spoke but, unlike others who he had to force himself to cipher through panic and fear with, her voice was even and easy to understand with a little effort.

The accusations she threw out were atrocious, Alvarance agreed, but something didn't quite add up. There were other possibilities. Alvarance studied the picture, if only they had gotten a face. Chaol's comment threw Alvarance off a bit, but the warrior assumed it was something he'd have to deal with. Alvarance's face showed that he was in deep thought, if intentional or not was undetermined. "I have heard rumors of a man with yet unknown origins," He said carefully, "Maelstrom's Plague Knight is a man I hear delights in experimentation on the living. I don't see why he wouldn't use his notes for his house and alter them in order to create monstrosities. He doesn't seem to care about where his victims are from or where he sets foot if he can get away with it. Outside of him I have to agree that Meticulous seems to be the most likely culprit, even if I can't find a true motive."

Alvarance began to pace slightly. "Havoc has little need for that much power, it doesn't take that much to have modern conveniences does it?" It was a genuine question. "If I may propose a counter offer; I am merely a Warrior with special privileges and the Grandmaster asked me to take this task because of that. She is taking care of most of the homeland based defenses, I will fetch her and tell her of your offer and take your proof if you'd allow, and in return for letting me do so I'll find out exactly what is powering their areas if you wish." Though he didn't understand the rules he understood that all the members of this house contained some form of honor, even Chaol if the man wouldn't admit it. Perhaps a stronger alliance would prove to be a good thing if Alvarance could manage it.

[[NPC] Sevro]

Sevro let loose a sigh and pinched the bridge of her nose. Listening to him avoid any of the major decisions that she needed to have confidence in regards to her plans moving forward. Hearing Chaol speak of mad scientist made her acknowledge a key fact, "So what I want you to consider is that Maelstrom is Meticulous with a new name... where there's smoke there's fire... in my eyes Meticulous and Maelstrom are the same thing, the only difference is that Maelstrom lurks in the shadows and Meticulous bask in the light.  


She shooed away the old man, as the image didn't have the effect that she had initially hoped for. She wanted him to rally to action, but manipulating people was something she was never truly good at, even with the knowledge of her predecessors could she actively persuade someone to do what she needed, so instead she reverted to her own tactic, brutal and harsh reality. "While we could use your capability to do that research we already have our own means of espionage... what we need from havoc is less security on Meticulous part so that we can accomplish discovering their new power source and more security for our people here... I currently deal with big threats and it leaves me exhausted and we have lost a lot of good men to the Pandemonium force on the other end of the bridge... that is where the battle truly is... with Pandemonium and Meticulous and the things Meticulous has given birth to in their negligence such as Maelstrom..."



She then pointed to a map, on the wall of which divided the territories and battle zones, "Your current leader is a fool... you are being used and by the time they realize it, things will act to slowly for Havoc to survive... and we will both fall to bigger powers... Draconian was designed to replace you in their scheme of power... Maelstrom is just a means for someone to point a finger for what they intend to use us all for my point here is if you leave now without giving me a solid decision... we can't protect you but if you can't promise us 75% of your support right now then all hope is lost."
